We have been busy since opening our website last December and have had the opportunity to meet many hockey girls and moms. We wanted to create the "Bela Blog" to have a place to share some of our experiences and also to hear from you. We founded BelaHockey last year to offer a line of gear and apparel just for girls in hopes of getting more girls out on the ice. The year has been very successful and we hope to just keep growing. Please let us know what you think. We are always interested in hearing ideas for new products and what designs do and don't appeal to you.
We just returned from Denver, Colorado where Cammi was inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame. We were able to organize a free skate with over 100 girls while we were there. We will post photos from the events soon and also let you know where we'll be next!

I think the idea behind Belahockey is great. The only problem is living in Alaska ( there are ALOT of girl hockeyplayers) I stumbled on your website by accident, and have orderd a few things, but you guys are so far away that to get anything here you have to pay as much in shipping as it cost for the product. Which keeps some people from wanting it. It looked like in a pic that you had an actual store, you should get one a little closer, or recrut a few hockeymoms up north to help out, so we can enjoy what you have to offer without paying almost double price for it. Thank you for coming up with Belahockey. Tiffany
