Bela Joins the Portland Pirates

On October 25th, we joined the Portland Pirates in supporting Breast Cancer Awareness for their annual "Pink in the Rink" game. The Portland Pirates wore special pink jerseys and fans came to the rink wearing pink colors to show their support. We were proud to be a part of the event and donated a portion of our sales that evening to American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. BelaHockey also provided pink and blue jerseys for Casco Bay Hockey's U14 team that skated on the ice between periods. Even little Bela made a special appearance!

We had so much fun supporting our local AHL team and plan to come back in the spring for their annual Girl Scouts night.

Players Bench

In October, we hosted an autograph session with Cammi at the Players Bench retail store in Westminster, Colorado. The local pro-shop is carrying select products from the BelaHockey line. We decided to bring Cammi over to the store after her inauguration into the Hall of Fame in Denver. Girls from all over the state came to meet Cammi and have her autograph their sticks, jerseys, Katie Kaps, cereal boxes, and more.

Here are some photos from the signing.

On the Ice with Arvada

After the autograph session at Players Bench, we organized a free skate at the Apex Center in Arvada, Colorado. Girls 19 and under were invited to skate with Cammi the day after she became the first female inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame. More than 100 girls came to join Cammi on the ice and BelaHockey received a very warm welcome from the Arvada and Colorodo Select girls teams. A big thanks to Coach Jennifer Tatnall and the Arvada parents for all their help coordinating our visit. We hope to be back again soon!
